Nicole Marcks is a graduate of the Juilliard Drama Division, and has performed across the country for over 20 years onstage with various, lauded regional theaters as well as in New York and Los Angeles. She’s also appeared onscreen in award winning independent movies and on TV for Universal.
Having studied improv with The Groundlings and Bang Comedy Theatre the actress found her true calling as a performer through improvisation. Ms. Marcks played with various groups in LA while teaching improv at Bang, and her solo improvised show – as alter ego Famke Roumstead – ran for over a year on Bang’s main stage. Performing as a regular with the wildly popular group, Totally Looped, Nicole played alongside seasoned comedians and improvisers such as Dan Castellaneta(The Simpsons), Maria Bamford, Laraine Newman (original SNL castmember), Rick Overton and Keegan-Michael Key (Key and Peele).
Nicole has incorporated the various tenets of improvisation not only into her performing and personal life, but also as a business professional working for a Fortune 500 Company. During her 7 year stay at Disney Consumer Products, her focus was on Marketing and Storytelling for the Fashion & Home division. She developed, crafted and gave presentations for both internal Disney audiences and external licensees. While at DCP, Nicole also served as a Disney representative for QVC, appearing live on the channel multiple times. Her appearances and interactions with viewers garnered Disney jewelry items to sell-thru beyond expectation.
Currently Ms. Marcks lives in Park City, Utah, where she is a partner with Triple I Creative; a full service improv corporate training and performance company, and often performs as a founding member in the improv group Hot Toddy.
